Why is it important to call a restoration company immediately after discovering water damage?

Mold can start growing within 24 hours after water damage affects drywall and other materials. Acting fast not only prevents further structural damage but also helps protect homeowners from potential health risks caused by mold exposure.

In what areas do you operate in?

Our hotline currently provides water damage assistance for select territories across New England and Northern CA.

What is the number to the hotline?

There is no single number to our hotline. Each partnered plumber gets issued a unique phone number to call to connect to our hotline. This unique number identifies the plumber and their area. When a call comes into our hotline, our system recognizes the unique phone number and knows which restoration companies serve that area.

Is it guaranteed that someone will be available?

While there's no absolute guarantee there will be an answer, calls to our hotline are answered by a local restoration company more than 98% of the time.

How reputable are the restoration companies that answer the hotline?

We only route calls to experienced and reputable restoration companies that have a Google My Business profile. The average collective rating of the companies we direct calls to have a 4.9 star rating on Google with an average of 30-35 reviews.

Will someone be available during weekends or after normal business hours?

Almost always.

Why would a customer call water damage hotline as opposed to looking up and calling a local water damage company?

Most the time, people probably would just look up a company and call them. Our hotline is more focused on helping customers either after 5pm, on weekend, during the holidays, or just when other companies just may be too busy (such as from a recent storm).

How fast can I get connected to a restoration company?

95% of our calls are answered within the first 40 seconds.


What happens if no one answers?

This would be very unusual but could potentially happen during the middle of the night.. if that happens, you’ll be connected with a call answering service and you’ll receive a call back from a restoration company.

Can I request a specific restoration company (or select one as a preference when available)?

If can choose to do that… talk to us on how that can be done. We’ll make it so the initial call always goes to that company. And if no answer, then we’l ring ll the other restoration companies in the area.

Can you help with mold issues caused by water damage?

We just connect the caller with a restoration company.. it’s up to the individual restoration company whether they’ll take a call specifically for mold removal, whether they bill insurance directly, perform rebuild, etc.

What’s such the hurry with calling a restoration company?

Mold can grow in as soon as 24 hours after water damage to sheetrock and other materials.

Do you guarantee the work done by the restoration companies?

Definitely not.. however we monitor satisfaction and restoration performance and we will route more calls to the better companies over time to improve satisfaction.
